Terms of use
These terms cover use of pancakepod.com. The booking form is an enquiry, not a contract.
Who runs this site
Pancake Pod is a food truck based at Leech Road, Chard, Somerset, TA20 1FA. Phone 07940 086642. Email john@pancakepod.com. Facebook: facebook.com/pancakepod (opens in a new tab).
The site is about traditionally cooked gourmet pancakes, sweet and savoury, and about asking Pancake Pod to cater an event such as a wedding, private party, corporate day or staff welfare day.
An enquiry is not a booking
The form on the home page asks us to get in touch. Sending it does not reserve the truck and does not create a contract. If the form is accepted, the page says we will reply to the email address you gave as soon as we can. That reply is not, by itself, a confirmed booking. Anything agreed after that is separate from pressing Send.
If the email cannot be sent, the form asks you to call 07940 086642 or email john@pancakepod.com instead.
This website does not take payment and does not show prices. At the truck, card or cash is accepted.
What the form does with your details is on the privacy policy. The form handler does not store the enquiry. It sends one email, as that page explains.
The rest of the site
Wording and photos on the site describe Pancake Pod. The Find us map, if you open it, is loaded from OpenStreetMap only after you press “Show the map”. Analytics cookies are explained on the cookies page.
